TeamFYNSports Writer’s Player of the Week- Kasey Owens, no. 63

Senior Kasey Owens for the Yellow Jackets played a great game last Friday night. He helped the offense gain 350 total yards and score 44 points. He also had 2 tackles on defense. Kasey played this great game Friday night despite an emotional week, displaying his strength both on and off the field.

TeamFYNSports Writer’s Player of the Week- Payton Ivester

Congratulations to this week’s TeamFYNSports Writer’s Player of the Week for the Hayesville Yellow Jackets- Payton Ivester!
Payton played a pivotal role in the Yellow Jackets’ game against Lookout Valley. He scored all four touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets. He had 104 yards passing with two touchdown passes, and 89 rushing yards with two touchdown carries.
Good luck to Payton and the rest of the Yellow Jackets as they continue their season!
TeamFYNSports Writer’s Player of the Week- Blake McClure

This week’s TeamFYNSports Writer’s Player of the Week for the Hayesville Yellow Jackets is Blake McClure! Blake played great games against both Copper Basin and Tellico Plains. In the game against Copper Basin, Blake had 12 carries for 128 yards and a rushing touchdown, as well as three catches for 66 yards and a touchdown catch. In the game against Tellico Plains, Blake carried eight times for 117 yards.
This award is definitely well-deserved! Congratulations to Blake McClure!
