The Hayesville Yellowjackets delivered a commanding performance on Friday, September 5, 2025, defeating the Copper Basin Cougars 41–8 in Copperhill, Tennessee. This non-conference matchup showcased the Yellowjackets’ offensive prowess and defensive resilience, improving their season record to 2–1.

Running back Tre Graves was the standout player, amassing 143 rushing yards and scoring three touchdowns on just 14 carries. His explosive performance was complemented by Kaden Ledford, who contributed 68 rushing yards and added another touchdown to the scoreboard.
