Hayesville, NC- Former Hayesville Yellow Jacket basketball standout and state champion Kobe Ashe will be a Mountain Lion in 2023. Ashe has announced he is transferring to Young Harris College in Young Harris, Georgia to continue his athletic and academic career on Twitter earlier today.
Ashe just completed his Freshman season at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he committed to right out of High School. He averaged 18.5 minutes per game with the Sail Fish and scored 499 points in his Freshman campaign.
Kolbe will join a Young Harris basketball team that went 19-10 last season and finished 5th in the Peach Belt Conference standings.
