Edith Elouise Arrowood Stiles: Obituary

Edith Elouise Arrowood Stiles, age 94 of Murphy passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

Edith was born in Cherokee County, NC to the late John and Della Creasman Arrowood. Edith was a member of Maltby Baptist Church where she was the bookkeeper for over 50 years. She also served as president for the Cherokee County Extension Homemakers group and the bookkeeper for the cattle sales barn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Julius Stiles.

Edith is survived by her sons, Tommy Stiles and wife Pam and Jeff Stiles and wife Lisa; daughter, Beth Stiles; brother, Howard Arrowood and wife Cheryl; sister Dean Minor and husband Dave; grandchildren, Ryan Stiles and wife Christin, Brandon Stiles, Brandi Stiles and Casey Henson and husband Kenny; and great-grandchildren, Bria, Brodi, Della, Tripp and Kylar.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm, Friday February 14, 2020 at the Maltby Baptist Church. Pastor Harold Stiles and Pastor Kenny White will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ryan Stiles, Brandon Stiles, Kenny Henson, Mitchell Arrowood, Rick Stiles and Blake Arrowood. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Stiles, Don Stiles and Ronnie Stiles. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm, Friday, February 14, 2020 at Maltby Baptist Church.
