CLAY COUNTY, N.C. – The Whiskey River Large Animal Mobile Vet will be holding a rabies clinic at Clay County Health Department (CCHD) on Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
In addition to the rabies vaccine, dogs and cats can receive distemper/parvo and/or feline leukemia vaccination.
In order to receive a three-year rabies vaccine, pet owners must show proof of a current one-year vaccine.
Increased safety measures will be in place due to COVID-19. Upon arrival, people are asked to remain in their car and a staff member will come to you. They will be seeing patients in the order they arrive. A mask or face covering will be required. Vaccinations will be given at the car.
The vaccination prices will be discounted as well.
All receipts for payment and proof of vaccines from the rabies clinic will be mailed or emailed within a week.
