Brianna Foster is the TeamFYNSports Writer’s Player of the Week for the Lady Yellow Jackets!
Foster, a junior post player, averaged 12.3 points per game during the week as Hayesville (3-1, 2-0 Big Smoky Mountain 1-A) earned the first two conference wins of the season.
After the Lady Yellow Jackets dropped a tough, 47-32 game at Franklin on Monday, Dec. 9, the team rebounded to take down Rosman 55-32 in Hayesville on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
Foster played well in both games, showing that she is quick to act when she gets the ball and does most of her damange inside the paint with a variety of post moves.
Foster finished the week with her biggest game, scoring 20 points and pulling down 12 rebounds in a 60-42 victory against Swain Co. on Friday, Dec. 13, in Hayesville.
