Elizabeth “Betty” Cipich, 76, of Murphy passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in a Murphy hospital. She was a native of Chicago, Illinois, where she had lived until moving to Murphy in 2005. Betty was a member of River Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her church family.

She was the daughter of the late Martin and Rose Lombardi Cipich. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Cipich.

Surviving are a brother, Martin Cipich and wife, Mary Lou of Mineral Bluff, Georgia; and a niece, Lisa Cipich and three nephews, Eddie, Chucky, and Joey Cipich, all of Mineral Bluff. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at River Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Webster officiating. The interment will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Elizabeth “Betty” Cipich to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-3000.
