Barbara “Bobbie” Pachy, 79, of Hayesville passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 in Clay County Care Center. She was a native of Unionville, Michigan and graduated from Unionville High School. She had worked most of her life as a real estate agent and was licensed in both Michigan and Florida. She moved to Naples Florida in 1987 and finally retiring to Hayesville in 2004. Bobbie was a member of Oak Forest United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Women’s Methodist Union. Bobbie was a 42year member and past Madam President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Harrison, Michigan. She enjoyed arts and crafts as well as working in the yard and caring for animals. Barbara was an avid senior softball player, while living in Florida.
She was the daughter of the late Lester and Alyee Hovey Bosley. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Curtis Frazier; and several sisters.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Julius Pachy of Hayesville; a daughter, Quinn Betts and husband, Craig; three sons, Shannon Frazier, Brian Pachy, and Julis Pachy, III; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in loving memory of Barbara Pachy to the Oak Forest United Methodist Church Building Fund, PO Box 295, Hayesville, NC 28904.
The family wishes to thank the staff of both Clay County Care Center and Good Shepherd Hospice for the care they gave to Bobbie.
