Jewell Galloway Scroggs, 93, of Fairfax, Virginia, formerly of Hayesville, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 in a Fairfax care facility.

She was the daughter of the late John Roy and Lona Audrey McClure Scroggs and the wife of the late Keith Scroggs who died November 11, 1991.

Surviving are a son, John Keith Scroggs and wife, Anne of Fairfax, Virginia and a grandson, Keith Franklin Scroggs.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Hayesville First United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kirk Hatherly officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:45 Saturday morning at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville.
