HAYESVILLE, NC – Chris Taylor, a 55 year old man who went missing May 2 from Copperhill, TN, may be in the remote mountains of western North Carolina, family members say, based on troubling information that Taylor purportedly shared with loved ones prior to his disappearance.
Taylor was last seen driving a burgundy-colored 2002 Toyota RAV4 with TN plate D10-59C.
Taylor is described as 6’1 in height, weighing approximately 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Taylor is considered by family to be an immediate danger to himself.
“We are beyond desperate to find him and help him,” Adrian Althouse, Taylor’s sister, told FYN. Althouse established an email address to aid in the search: FindChrisToday@gmail.com
Althouse believes that the key to finding her missing brother depends on the public’s help in locating his vehicle.
Taylor worked as a nurse and whitewater rafting guide in Tennessee prior to his disappearance.
Anyone with information on Taylor’s whereabouts is asked to dial 911.
